Reviving to grow in the middle of environment’s issues, tourism is now becoming a business which is never easier to manage. Here in Bali, some cases are established when investments start to ignore how important the living environment is and think all is about owning ‘assets’, so greedy. It is time to stop NOW whatever it takes.

There is a NGO established in the late 1980s called WALHI who stood very strong to fight for justice about living environments. Recently, this organization reported there would be a developing infrastructure against terms of local rules and harms the forestry at Buyan lake area. A few permanent buildings were standing arrogantly with pre-processing permission of authorized government.

Those things pulled a trigger at the same time, Bali Outbound Community took place a small action protesting against this investment. We took some pictures of banner saying “NOT FOR SALE” with buildings, canal and information board of this villa’s developing as a background. We are doing such a simple publication to let the world know that this investment is WRONG. Also we want to ask everyone who gets involved with this investment to realized it and blow it.

It is not impossible to invest, it just need little understanding of how serious is to keep the environment clean and conserved. No matter what they try to build, beautiful palaces, casinos, 5 stars hotel or even villas; they should be aware about the global environment issues.

I am not going to say “Hurray…, the rain is falling…” But I say “Hell yeah…the polluted water is fucking dropped!” Say your gratitude to Whom makes it fell and say your curse to whom makes it polluted. Been three days continuously rain didn’t stop. In the other part of this country might flooded already at some point and that’s pretty obvious. After the long hard bright hot sunny day shaking everybody’s throat the coming of this miracle heals the souls and put a disaster at the same time.

Rain in nowadays is absolute differ from the old days where it was pure plain water with no containing harmful substance caused by vehicle gas. Rain takes away whatever is floating in the sky and brings it down to the earth together; put an empty bucket and set it into the rain then you will see what I am talking about.
